1. Q: I would like to sign up for one of your entry-level classes. What are the requirements?

    A: To register for an entry-level course, please follow these steps:

    Register with DCJS
    If you have never had a DCJS registration number (99-xxxxxx), create an account here:

    Follow instructions for your profile
    After registration, watch this help video for guidance: Lotus Profile Setup

    Submit your application and payment
     In your Lotus account, select “Private Security Services (PSS) Individual Registration Application.”
     Follow the steps, choose the category(ies) you are applying for, and pay the required DCJS fee.

    Retrieve your DCJS 99 number
    Go back to your Lotus profile. Click your name (top right corner) →
    Manage Account. Your 99-number will be displayed on the left side under your name.

    Register for your course
    Visit 👉 Entry-Level Courses
    Select your course and follow the checkout instructions.

    Provide your DCJS 99 number
    On the checkout page: Enter your 99-number in the first field.
Create a password for your student account. Complete checkout.

    Confirmation
    Once your payment is received, we will add you to the roster for the class dates you selected.

    Fingerprinting
    Check your email from DCJS after submitting payment. It includes detailed instructions for scheduling
your fingerprint appointment.

2. Q: I completed my course online, are you going to report my course completion to DCJS?
A: Our system reports instantly the completion of your course after you pass the final quiz. However, if your status with DCJS is still showing pending, please contact us immediately so we can help you.

3. Q: Do you issue refund if I purchased the wrong course?
A: Unfortunately, no, after the course is purchased, it will be accessible under “My Courses”

4. Q: I haven’t received my DCJS registration card yet. What do I do?
A: A Class Academy is a Certified Training School through DCJS; however, we do not work for DCJS. You can check your application status with DCJS by clicking this link. If you application status shows “ACTIVE” you        should expect your new registration card in the mail with 7 to 14 days. If your status still shows that your training is pending, contact DCJS at 804-786-4000 option1 then option 6 immediately to have your training approved. We do report the completion of your training upon the completion of your course.

5. Q: How do I check my application status with DCJS?

7. Q: I completed my course, but for some reason I can’t find my completion certificate?
A: You can visit this link, our video tutorial will show you step by step on how to find your certificate.

8. Q: How can I get a receipt for my payment with your school?
A: login to your profile, and click on “Orders”

9. Q: What do I bring to class for Entry Level?
A: State issued ID, note pad/book, pen.

10. Q: What is the code that I need to use to set up my appointment with Field Print?
A: FPVADOCJPSS (Please Note: Make sure that you have created a new application with DCJS, paid the fees and obtained your 99 number first, otherwise your fingerprints will not be received by DCJS)
